Jim keeps a hand on Hunter's back, as the other man goes to his father's side. It's impossible to tell if the man is aware at all, but it's pretty clear that if he isn't, he never will be again.

Still, Jim doesn't see why that should rob Hunter of getting to say his goodbyes, if that's what he wants. He won't get another chance. "Is there anything you want him to know?" he asks quietly.
