Jim can never waste any food or drink once it's been put in front of him, so he too drains his glass. Unlike the other two, Jim has no fear of the crowd, especially since he knows there won't be any reporters lurking around to harass him. No one knows him here, and it's oddly freeing to consider that.

He watches Hunter exit the car, and the response he gets from the crowd in doing so. He's seen this kind of chivalrous gesture in some of the movies he's seen with Hunter, so he follows the same tradition without hesitation, taking Verity's hand and letting her help him out, until he's steady on his feet.
