Hunter has received a few phone calls after completing his memorial to Kendra, and getting the opportunity to display the artwork in his dimension. His goal of finding the other people who might have had Kendra affect their lives had been successful. And now he is ready to go speak to them personally.

But first, he didn't want to go alone. And at the same time, he didn't want those he was meeting to know that he didn't trust them. So he called Faris to join him in the adventure. Hopefully he would be able to put more of Kendra's memory to peace by doing this.

He does wonder, but Hunter's mood right now is a good one, and Jim doesn't want to ruin it by bringing it up. Besides... it really does seem like those doubts aren't weighing on him at all, now that he's free of the curse.

"I guess that's practical," Jim agrees, raising his eyebrows. "Although if we get into trouble and end up having to run or something, I'm taking my shoes off."

"Now now now... let's not stray into Cinderella too much..." Hunter takes advantage of the fact that they are alone for the moment, to nuzzle Jim's neck.

Jim laughs a little at that. "I wasn't even thinking about that."

Hunter is pretty tempted to test if Jim's libido has returned or not. After all, he feels even closer to the other man, considering what they have both gone through. But he figures that if it had, Jim would tell him.

"I am going to shower. And then make you breakfast." He smiles.

Jim's recovery has been proceeding well, and while he's still not back to a hundred percent, he's been noticing improvements in his body's responses to his desires. Probably not enough for any kind of marathon sex session or anything, but enough to do something with, at least.

Of course, he also hasn't necessarily found a good way to bring it up, particularly after Hunter's been through such a trying time. But he sees an opening now, and gives Hunter a mildly flirtatious look. "Got room in the shower for one more?"

"Of course I do..." Hunter slides off his bed, offering his hands to Jim. "Have you seen the size of my shower?"

"Sure," Jim says, taking Hunter's hands and letting him help him up off the bed. "But let's get real, it's not the size, it's how you use it."

"I think I got a good handle on using it." Hunter is picking up the flirtatious vibes. But better safe than sorry. "If you are up for it."

"Wouldn't have asked if I wasn't."

[Hmm, nothing else specific comes to mind immediately. I have some small ideas for later threads but they will require a lot more brainstorming first. And I do sort of want to do a thread with Jim being sick after the super-inoculation thing that Samus wants him to get, but I need to talk with the mun about whether we're playing that part out or not first.

For drag thread are we doing a round robin w/Verity then?]

[Good idea to touch base on that regard.

It would be a round robin. Likely a slow-moving thread too.

But doesn't mean we can't do something else for other muns in the meantime]

[I am okay with it being slow-moving. I have seen that Verity's mun has not been posting frequently lately which is okay. I assume there are RL reasons, which always come first.

We can get started on that and come up with something else in the meantime. :) One thing I have been contemplating lately is whether to have Jim experience his first LOL, and if so, what I should do to him.]

He really does. So many options... lol. I am almost regretting using canon!Jim instead of the one from my X-Men crossover fic series because he'd have his powers back by now if I had. ;) Ah well.

Of course, if he gets LOLed from food, he's going to end up really paranoid about food in general for a while, which is some good potential angst.]

[In Hunter's Nexus thread, where he first activated his magical abilities, he had invited Verity to the Drag date. I have not extended the invite OOC yet]

That would definitely be angsty. I get the feeling that most general LOLs, Jim would take with good nature. So having something that makes him think twice would be good for character development]

[Ah, guess I missed that because of the slow updates. I will have to go back and read it. :)

Hmm, I guess it also depends on what exactly it does to him. If it's something harmless, like turning his hair green or something, he won't mind so much. Something that interferes with being able to do his duty (like when Clark was LOLed to only speak Kryptonian) or anything like that would definitely have an impact on his attitude towards things.]

[So I have two thoughts currently. First is the good old standby 'person is turned into animal' LOL and I'm fairly certain that Jim would be a golden retriever, because of course he would be. Second idea is that he's compelled to say all of his thoughts out loud, regardless of how appropriate his commentary is or how private his thoughts are. Kind of like being under a truth serum. I am still brainstorming but this is what I have so far. Thoughts?]
